Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi is Bay Area filmmaker and photographer who graduated from UC Berkeley and received his MA degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Since then he has been on a journey around the world taking photos and documenting award-winning films about music and culture. Currently, Eli is curating the 9th Annual FistUp Film Festival, producing a transmedia project called Defend Puerto Rico and finishing up a feature-length Documentary in Cuba called Bakosó. His dedication to his craft is deeply connected to his commitment to social justice and the belief in the transformative power of storytelling.
