This sex-worker led strategy session focuses on digital media’s changing facade as it impacts our industry and our labor. Sex workers have always relied on rhetorical, aesthetic, and poetic media to connect to one another, to clientele, and to the public. Now, we’ve arrived at a pivotal moment, in which media threatens us with exploitation, yet also holds the potential for our independence. The conversation centers on the concept of the “void” – the space between ourselves and our colleagues, ourselves and our clientele, ourselves and our identities – as a site of worker autonomy.
