Ellen Farr, EdD is an instructional designer in the Office of Instructional Design at The College of New Jersey. She is dedicated to guiding faculty's integration of technology into their course design. She draws upon her doctoral expertise in the design of learning environments to support the faculty's pedagogical goals. She has extensive experience in educational, instructional, and assistive technology, web design, curriculum design, grant writing and administration, assessment, and professional development for higher ed faculty, staff, pre- and in-service K-12 teachers, parents, and students (including those with disabilities). In her 18+ years teaching graduate (assistive technology; collaboration and partnerships) and undergraduate students (first-year writing seminar, children's literature; child development; student teaching capstone; freshman advising seminar; computer literacy), and managing numerous state and federal grants, Ellen has dedicated her career to being a higher education change agent focused on enriching student experiences by promoting inclusion and equity.
