Ellen Farr, M.S., is an assistant professor in The College of New Jersey’s Department of Special Education, Language and Literacy. She is pursuing an Ed.D., specializing in the Design of Learning Environments, at Rutgers University. Ellen has a plethora of experience in both K-12 and higher education environments. For nearly two decades, she has been teaching courses on assistive technology and collaboration to pre-service teachers and an undergraduate children’s literature course. Prior to teaching at TCNJ, she taught third grade in New Jersey. Ellen serves as project coordinator for The College of New Jersey’s Center on Assistive Technology and Inclusive Education Studies, managing grant-funded projects and coordinating assistive technology and augmentative communication evaluations for K-12 students.
