Madison Creutz is a second-year masters student in Loyola's Higher Education and Student Affairs program. As a white, able bodied, cisgender, heterosexual female working in a university setting, Madison acknowledges the importance of the hard and continuous work it takes to create inclusive spaces for ever-diversifying student populations. Raised in metro-Detroit and having completed her undergraduate degree in Grand Rapids Michigan, Madison is excited to stay in Chicago post graduation to continue research on white identity development and the impact of white affinity spaces on college campuses.
