Alexis Pauline Gumbs is the author of M Archive: After the End of the World, Spill: Scenes of Black Feminist Fugitivity and co-editor of Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Front Lines. Alexis lives and loves in Durham, North Carolina. She is also currently engaged in a collaboration in the Twin Cities as the Winton Chair at University of Minnesota.

Alexis Pauline Gumbs is a queer black troublemaker and a black feminist love evangelist based in Durham, NC. She is the author of Spill: Scenes of Black Feminist Fugitivity, the co-editor of Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Frontlines and poet in residence at Make/Shift Magazine.
