XENA X. ELLISON (NEW ORLEANS, LA 1994), a Black, precolonial deity Native to Louisiana; is a performing & visual healing artist, DJ, actress, & model who works in photography, video, performance, poetry, lighting & sound.
She studied Creative Writing at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and later she attended the University of North Texas where she studied Psychology, History, Aesthetic Philosophy, Women & Gender Studies & Creative Writing,
Born in the early 90s to a young teen mother and her own two Black Fundamentalist, anti-secular Christian preacher parents, Xena X. Ellison now seeks to look back/forward/here as a preacher's kid's kid to explore her own and external relationship between mysticism(s), fundamentalism(s), and conditioning(s) of late capitalist 22nd century virtual reality subjectivity in multidimensional space(s)/hips
